Individual clinic queues and wait times can appear on a touchscreen monitor display mounted on the wall in the back office for the nurses and clinicians to use not only as a convenient visual display of the real time clinic activity, but also to maneuver the queues with the touch of a finger to maximise scheduling for the most efficient use of the clinic.
This wait time data can also be published to the Florence Self Check-in Kiosks so the patient is informed of their estimated wait time upon arrival. The data can also be published to video displays in the waiting areas, if desired, along with the option to alert patients on these screens both visually and audibly. And soon Florence will make this wait time data also available for notifications on the patient's mobile device.
Florence can capture and log a number of key appointment events as a patient progresses through their outpatient journey:
Time of arrival
Time called for appointment (call into clinic/consultation room)
Time appointment started (arrival after a call or a move into clinic/consultation room)
Time appointment finished (departure from clinic consultation room)
The data collected can be aggregated and reported to give administrators a keen insight into their clinics and make appropriate adjustments to maximise efficiencies.
