FLORENCE KIOSK NOW ACCEPTING VACCINE PASSES
As part of the check-in process users are now able to scan in their My Vaccine Pass at the kiosk. The backend system captures the vaccine pass details so the user doesn't need to scan it again until their pass expires.
We are continuing to work with the MoH to ensure all vaccine passes can be read quickly and easily by the kiosk camera and develop the feature further to prompt users when their pass has expired and is due for renewal.
RADIUS CARE FACILITIES KEEPING VISITORS, STAFF AND RESIDENTS SAFE
At the beginning of 2021 Florence Digital partnered with Radius Care to develop a staff and visitor self check-in app delivered on a kiosk. After some interruptions due to the pandemic the last kiosk has been rolled out to the final Radius site in New Zealand.
Initially staff and visitors were cautious about using this new technology but our simple to use check-in system proved its purpose by cutting the check-in process down from minutes to seconds and removed any sight of pens and paper!
HASTING HEALTH CENTRE EMPOWER PATIENTS WITH SELF CHECK-IN
Fully embracing technology Hastings Health Centre have installed 6 patient self check-in kiosks across their two foyers. Integrated with their Medtech patient management system means patients simply check in via the kiosk and go directly to the waiting area. This frees up reception staff to do more value-add tasks.
"We love our kiosk at the Hastings Health Centre. Reception staff are overjoyed with the decrease in patients presenting to the reception desk for arrival to the practice. It's provided a contactless and quick arrival process for patients and this has a considerable impact on freeing up the reception team for more valuable tasks. UNISPORTS ORTHO PATIENTS SELF CHECK-IN
UniSports Ortho had an immediate need for a kiosk so patients could self check-in for their appointments in the shared un-manned reception area.
A quick turn-around saw Florence prepare and install a kiosk within 2-3 weeks of project initiation. Any initial configuration issues were sorted on the spot and UniSports Ortho patients quickly adapted to the technology.
